From Text to Title: How ChatGPT Agent and DeedPlotter AI Deliver a Zero-Click Boundary Workflow

Today, we will review ChatGPT’s Agent feature by prompting it to complete a task on DeedPlotter AI.

TLDR;

A newly released ChatGPT Agent signs up for DeedPlotter AI, uploads a metes and bounds legal description, plots the boundary, and exports a polished PDF entirely on its own. This post walks through each step with screenshots and explains how autonomous agents are changing the future of software testing and delivery.

Why This Matters

With the release of ChatGPT’s Agent feature, OpenAI has transformed its assistant from a conversational interface into a full digital worker. It can now browse websites, fill forms, click buttons, and execute workflows across applications.

By combining this with DeedPlotter AI, our web-based boundary plotting tool for metes and bounds legal descriptions, we created a fully automated test case for one of our most critical workflows: from sign-up to export.

The result is a completely autonomous product experience that performs real-world tasks without a single line of new code or a human in the loop.

Starting the Prompt

Prompt Given to the ChatGPT Agent:

You are an expert title examiner. Go to deedplotter.ai, register a new account, create a project in Cleveland, Ohio, paste a complex metes and bounds legal description, verify the boundary visually, and export the plot as a PDF. Use the email format: joe+automatedtesting[DATE]@savageinnovations.com.

Step 1: ChatGPT Agent Completes Account Registration

The agent visits app.deedplotter.ai/register and fills out the required fields with a generated test email address and password. With one click, it completes registration and receives access to the platform.

Step 2: ChatGPT Agent Completes Profile Information

Once signed in, the agent is directed to complete the user profile. It enters:

First Name: Joe
Last Name: Automated
Position: Title Examiner
Phone Number: 555-555-5555
Company: Testing Co.

The agent accepts the terms of service and submits the form, receiving five trial credits for the platform.

Step 3: ChatGPT Agent Creates a Project

The agent begins a new project using:

Project Name: Cleveland, Ohio Project
Project Starting Address: Cleveland, Ohio

The coordinates are auto-filled, and it creates the project with a single click. The project loads with an interactive map focused on Cleveland.

Step 4: ChatGPT Agent Loads Map, Completes Research, and Generates a Plot

Once the map is loaded, the agent determines it needs an appropriate legal description for testing. It performs a live search, finds a reliable article explaining metes and bounds descriptions, and copies valid testing data.

The agent pastes the multi-line legal description into the textbox and clicks “Add Legal Description.” It then waits for confirmation of successful parsing.

Step 5: ChatGPT Agent Plots and Verifies

After the agent submits the legal description, DeedPlotter parses the text, extracts coordinates, and renders the boundary polygon.

The agent confirms:

Closure: 100 percent
Perimeter: 500.00 ft
Area: 0.34 acres
No overlaps
POB and iron pins are marked

The agent now sees a clean, closed plot displayed in downtown Cleveland. This serves as both a successful visual confirmation and a data-backed verification.

Step 6: ChatGPT Agent Exports to PDF

With the boundary verified, the agent proceeds to the export menu. It selects “Export Project as PDF,” confirming the correct file type and settings.

The agent prepares to generate a final version that includes line labels, bearings, project name, and disclaimer.

Step 7: ChatGPT Agent Exports Project Preview

Before finalizing, the agent previews the drawing layout with DXF background styling applied. All plotted lines, labels, bearings, and points are visible on a scaled drawing.

This confirms that what is exported will match expectations.

Step 8: ChatGPT Agent Finished – Success

The export completes and generates a clean, single-page PDF. The file includes:
